Vacancy for Service Advisor at Clarks of Kidderminster
Service Advisor required to work for a successful family-run franchise dealer in Kidderminster. Manufacturer training will be given.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Service Advisor you will be required to:
· Greet customers when they arrive at the service department
· Consult with technicians about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work
· Provide customers with in-depth information about available aftermarket and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part options
· Answer questions about service outcome (after consulting with the technician if necessary)
· Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings
· Manage and oversee the service departments workflow and scheduling
· Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up
· Holiday entitlement – starting with 30 days inclusive of Bank Holidays
· Automatic enrolment to NEST Pension Scheme
· Sign up to training academy.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· GCSEs or equivalent required
· Customer Service Experience
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Ability to communicate equally well with technicians, customers and senior management
The successful applicant must have a proven track record of achieving success and experience of working in an aftersales environment, also developing relationships with manufacturer partners and customers. You will also be effective in supporting colleagues, whilst being hands on and have the drive and determination to maintain policies that constantly improve customer satisfaction and the dealership’s reputation.
Salary: OTE £28,000 dependant on experience
Position is fulltime Monday – Friday with rota Saturday morning.
